Once a patient decides to have a crown placed, preparations begin. The tooth is first numbed and then reshaped to accommodate the crown. Next, a digitized tooth impression is taken using our advanced technology, eliminating the need for messy traditional impressions.
After the impression is taken, it is uploaded into our computer software, where we can design a custom dental crown that will fit perfectly on the prepared tooth. The crown is then fabricated from a block of porcelain while patients wait. Once complete, the crown is bonded in place, and patients can go about their day with minimal interruption!
