Same-Day CEREC Crowns Near Me In Greensboro NC

Do you need a dental crown in Greensboro, North Carolina? Crowning your smile no longer requires multiple dental trips and a protracted treatment. Triad Dentistry offers same-day dental crowns to restore your smile without the traditional wait. Thanks to CEREC technology, our doctors can plan, create, and place your crown in a single appointment!

What is CEREC dentistry?

CEREC stands for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics. CEREC uses an in-office computer-assisted design and manufacturing system to allow our doctors to design and fabricate your dental crowns right here in the office. Unlike traditional crowns, we don’t have to send your digital scans to an offsite lab. We complete the entire dental crown process in one visit and one location.

What is the process of getting a CEREC crown?

Your treatment starts with a consultation to determine your eligibility for a crown. Next, the dentist will numb your gums with local aesthetics and prepare the tooth by reshaping the enamel to ensure your crown fits over your existing tooth.

We will use a comfortable, hand-held scanner to scan your tooth digitally, so there’s no need for messy and gag-inducing impressions. With the help of our computer-assisted design (CAD) unit, we will design your crown to perfectly match your tooth’s color, shape, and size. Once the crown design is approved, we will send the model to our in-house milling machine to create your restoration. The computer-assisted manufacturing (CAM) machine will fabricate your crown from a ceramic block in as little as 15 minutes.

After your crown is finished, the dentist will polish it and make any necessary adjustments to ensure it fits well and looks natural. The last step is to attach the crown to your tooth using strong adhesives. And that’s it! Your restored tooth is now ready to be used.

What are the benefits of CEREC dental crowns?

You can benefit from choosing a CEREC dentist for dental crowns. Here are the advantages of CEREC dental crowns.

  • Convenience: Imagine getting a crown designed and fitted in a single appointment! It sounds impossible, but that’s what CEREC dentistry can do. Same-day allows us to restore your smile with a quality, durable crown without the traditional wait.
  • Comfort: Our digital impressions mean you don’t have to contend with messy, goop-based impressions. Our doctors use a small, comfortable wand-like device to capture your tooth’s specifications.
  • Precision: CEREC restorations are crafted with exceptional precision to ensure a comfortable fit. Advanced digital imaging and design technology ensure that your dental crown fits comfortably as if it were a seamless extension of your tooth.
  • Durability: Because your crowns are made with speed, it doesn’t mean we sacrifice their durability. CEREC crowns can last well over a decade with proper maintenance. Brush and floss your crown like any other teeth, and visit your dentist every six months.
  • Natural appearance: We create single-visit crowns from high-grade ceramic materials that closely resemble the look and translucency of natural teeth. The result is a restoration that blends seamlessly with your existing smile.
