Next, your dentist takes your bite impressions while you bite into a mouthful of putty dental material. Then, the dentist creates models sent to an off-site dental lab to fabricate your crowns. For about 2-3 weeks, you will wear a temporal crown while waiting for your permanent crown.

CEREC crowns are fabricated in such a way that they eliminate potential flaws inherent in traditional crowns. Instead of gooey impressions, we use super-accurate scanners to take thousands of images of your mouth. These images are fed into the CAD/CAM technology to model your crown.
When it comes to fabricating, we eliminate human error by using a CEREC milling machine that cuts out the exact replica of your crown as per your dentition specifications. By the way, this machine is found right here in our office, which saves time consumed on sending models to an off-site dental lab.
